WHAT THEY'RE SAYING ABOUT US

..Made up of two adjoining 19th century townhouses, this funky-charming hide-away (four storey walkup) has small but comfortable rooms that look like they were furnished entirely from flea markets or grandma’s attic. It’s character on a budget, just East of the most desirable part of this happening hood (Union Square, Flatiron & Gramercy)

The feel of the Interior is that of the smaller, more affordable, yet quaint Parisian hotels and Italian pensiones..

Real character not one of those stuffy or anemic hospital like settings at some hotels. Yeah, yeah I know there are nicer places to stay in NY but this is the place for those who want to get a taste of REAL NYC..

The place has the feel of an old country home decorated with your grandmother’s cast-off furniture and mismatched items picked up at the 26th Street flee market..

…people at the front desk were very friendly! they helped us find restaurants, shops, basically everything. Our room was sooo cute…

Occupying a townhouse building, the property has the feeling of a giant walk-up apartment. The hallways are narrow, and the stairs creak as guests ascend to their rooms for the night. These, by the way, are good things. The rooms are small but cheerfully decorated with antique furniture and colorful bedspreads and curtains--a country home decor that makes this place special.

…Old and decrepit and weird, but clean and cheap and full of character…
